Our new coilover suspension system is designed to give you the choice of suspension character and ride height for your Jaguar. We’ve cleverly engineered the suspension system to be adjustable for ride height and to use Eibach’s ERS springs, with an enormous range of spring rates and lengths available. We build the dampers, in passive form, with CATS where this is fitted to the vehicle as standard and with new adaptive dynamics for 10 MY vehicles, to match the springs and therefore the character you require. In short, you can decide if you value comfort, a lowered ride height, sports driving or any combination in between. This system is available for all 2006 MY onwards XKs and XKRs (X150), all XFs (including XFR), all S-Types and all 1996 MY onwards XK8s and XKRs (X100). Brakes Discs for XKR Alcon brake option

Our new discs to suit the XKR Alcon brake option eliminate problems associated with judder and vibration. The discs are engineered using AP racing 400mm grooved discs on the front and 350mm grooved discs on the rear, all mounted on machined bells that allow lateral float which eliminates vibration and judder sensitivity. This arrangement also has a significant weight saving, our front discs are 4kg lighter, and rear discs 2.5kg lighter, per disc, than standard which, as an unsprung mass saving, gives further advantages for ride quality. XKR 4.2 and 5.0 Centre Sports Exhaust

Our development of the XKR exhaust is a simple replacement of the centre pipes removing all silencing and adding an X-section to join the banks together. The advantage of this is it retains the standard active valve system which, depending on engine revs and throttle position, opens two valves in the rear silencer to increase both exhaust volume and gas flow. The benefit of this system is its ability to deliver a better compromise for full throttle whilst maintaining quiet cruising, giving an improved note and better balanced flow. Another advantage is it retains the discreet looks of the standard tail pipes and is also very cost effective. It also retains original style clamps for a perfect seal. These springs are unique to Spires and have been designed and engineered by us with progressive spring rates to provide nominal lowering of 20mm front and rear and to reduce body roll, reduce understeer, improve road holding and retain ride comfort. XF S:Series Completes Nurburgring Development

Our XF S:Series package has completed sign off on
the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in
Germany.
This famous 14.2 mile ‘Green Hell’ stretch of
tarmac is used by major manufacturers to develop
their cars for chassis performance and
durability. By running our XF here we’ve ensured
our spring and damper package gives the XF a
sweet balance and supreme body control to deal
with the crests and bumps of the circuit as well
as ensuring the exhaust and wheels perform lap
after lap.

Exhaust back box development continues with our
V6D and SV8 variants.
The tail pipe design has been finalised using a quad arrangement mimicking the XKR size and shape with the stagger set-up to suit the XF. This ensures a sporting and sophisticated OE look is maintained. These back boxes will be individually developed to suit the differing needs of all XF engine variants and will be available later in the year.

Our development of lowering and sports

continues.

direction for this model fits in well with our
philosophies and enables us to provide
opportunities for customers to make their cars
